Australians can now see better online

Australians now have access to Australian-owned and operated optometrists nationwide, with the launch of a new website today. eye wear

ProVision, the largest independent optical group in Australia, has connected Australians with nearly 400 optometrists, including specialty and unique services. provisionoptometrists.com.au/ features a comprehensive library of information on eye health and eyewear and enables visitors to book an eye test online and search the latest styles on the market.

The site also serves as an intranet for members, providing members with daily news and media, marketing materials, individual web pages and newsletter management. Members can also order stock through an established product catalogue.

ProVision are able to maximise their service offering for both the general public and their member optometrists, says project partner and Managing Director of bwired Sam Saltis.

“Fundamentally, a website must satisfy the needs of a company’s various stakeholders; and in ProVision’s case we had to consider a wide range of stakeholders,” Mr Saltis said.

“The new site will put the organisation on a level playing field with some of the larger corporate and internationally owned retailers. Not only does it provide the brand with a stronger online presence and greater visibility for members, it also provides a more personalised digital service offering for both consumers and members, strengthening their competitive positioning in the market,” said Mr Saltis.

ProVision used bwired’s website management platform, coreDNA to maximise their service offering for both the general public and their member optometrists.
