Facebook has released their first app to help businesses manage advertising on the social media service.
Launched today, Facebook’s Ads Manager app aims to meet the growing demand from advertisers wanting to manage their Facebook campaigns on the move.
Ads Manager will allow users to track their ad performance, edit existing ads, edit their budgets and schedules, and even create new ads within the app. The app also offers users push notifications.
Australians may have to wait a bit before they can get their hands on the new service. Facebook says the app is available in the U.S. from today and that it should be available worldwide “in the next few weeks.”
The app follows Facebook’s release of the Ads Manager mobile website last year, which they claim is now being used by over 800,000 advertisers every single month.
Facebook is starting to focus more on advertisers, especially since the social media giant claims to now have over two million active advertisers.
