Brains behind Nad’s crack acne market

The family business behind Nad’s beauty products is making a foray into the competitive acne market this week.

Sue Ismiel & Daughters began in 1992 and is the Australian family-owned company behind brands like Nad’s and NitWits. Its newest invention, PuraSkin Total Acne Solution, was conceived and developed by eldest daughter Nadine Ismiel and went on sale on Monday.

The family has a habit of going back to basics when they need to find health and wellbeing solutions. Sue Ismiel made the family fortune by mixing up a hair removal solution from ingredients in her kitchen to treat her daughter’s unwanted hair issue.

Now Nadine, who suffered from persistent acne for the majority of her adolescent and young adult life, has turned her personal struggle into a business opportunity. As a science and herbal medicine graduate, she took the drastic measure of experimenting on herself in a bid to try and get rid of her acne.

She has spent the last five years developing the new acne solution for the wider public. Clinical testing saw users see an average improvement of 61 percent in their complexion in 12 weeks.

Experienced exporters, the Ismiel family has high hopes for PuraSkin overseas. Find out more at www.puraskinacnetreatment.com.au
