Julie Mather’s on ethical retailing
Julie Mathers started Flora and Fauna (F&F) in late 2014 and it was driven by a desire to be the most ethical retailer possible with the BEST customer service. Mathers is a super proud vegan, has an adorable pet pig and is a self confessed workaholic. “A truly great CEO has vision and balance but also has a powerful team around them and there is no reason a woman can’t do that. I believe we need to lose terms like #girlboss as that does us no favours at all.”
How are millennials changing talent?
Data is showing us that what millennials want is rather simple. While workers across all ages might want more time with family and friends, the millennial age group wants to be satisfied with their work. They want work that is purpose-driven and jobs that will fulfill their personal objectives and career development goals.
‘Unions not penalty rates’ hit workers
Workers are losing extra pay on weekends and public holidays because of deals between unions and businesses not because of cuts to penalty rates, the Turnbull government says.
