Artists and creatives will have the opportunity to learn how to make money from their creations in a conference to be held in Brisbane.
A new event, the Artful Business Conference will take place in Brisbane next week, the first of its kind aiding artists, writers, designers, crafters or other creative industry workers.
The conference aims to give entrepreneurs in the creative space the tools they need to succeed in business. Organised by Elle Roberts of the Creative Business Co, the event intends to fill the gap in the conference market for this particular niche.
“Don’t get me wrong, there are some amazing workshops and small business seminars being held around the country but nothing on this scale for the handmade and creative community,” said Roberts.
A mix of Australian and international experts will be speaking at the event, including author and founder of Artizen Coaching Jennifer Lee, Editor in Chief of Scoutie Girl Tara Gentile and author of Baked Social Media blog Russell Allert.
Sponsored and supported by Queensland small businesses, the Artful Business Conference will also be available live online to virtual attendees, with tickets available on sale till Monday 3 September.
